Over and over before now i have always thought of what will become finally of my dear country, Nigeria. A land the British hugged so much, licking, milking and also craving for more of what is in my land so rich that is unfinnishable in the eyes of time before we strike and scream like a goat, and comes to the time of this decadence in the economy as the soul engine of the nation.
The thought of survival with the thinking of confidence make us yell for independence, the independence we now have constitutionalised not internal self government alone but also external independence, looking at it now and then it makes me ask, 'what do we now have?
What independence do we have when hunger still strikes, unemployment at the brim, one fear from another, where are we going? They have made their assertions that white leadership are indispensable for economic development.where are we going?
Differing languages and differing cultural backgrounds are not obstacle to democratic unity. Such differences can provide the basis for a richer and stronger democracy. ''Freedom'' is a word which is found in every language and only by helping the least fortunate of its members to help themselves, can the human family achieve the decent, satisfying life that is the right of all people.
